* Iman is usually translated as faith. In another hadith, related by Muslim (No.57) Iman is described as 'having more than seventy branches, the highest of which is saying 'La ilah ill Allah' (there is no god but the One God) and the lowest of which is removing a harmful obstacle from the path.
